Eating Disorder Program
According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), 3.7 million veterans have a mental illness or substance use disorder. The problem appears to be growing worse, as SAMHSA also reported a significant increase in mental illness among veterans from 2008 to 2018.
The reasons for this spike in substance abuse and mental illnesses among veterans are complex, but are linked to the complex set of problems veterans face while adjusting back to civilian life. As a result, veterans need the highest degree of support and deserve the best holistic services available at the time of care.
This is why Hope & Healing Addiction Treatment Centers has created a specialty treatment program dedicated for our Veterans. Operation- Recovery In Arms.
Hope & Healing Addiction Treatment Centers is a contracted community care provider for the Department of Veterans Affairs. We are now offering Residential Treatment, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) with a specialized curriculum tailored to these unique needs of our vets.
We understand your sacrifices for our country often dont end when deployment ends and the uniform is taken off. Your life as you know it, has been altered forever. Our program cirriculum focuses on our variations of trauma, such as post-traumatic stress disorder, from long deployments, combat experiences, and post-deployment challenges.
Our highly trained staff has years of experience working with individuals suffering from addiction, and mental health issues. Also, many of our staff are on their own personal journey in recovery, which brings a deeper level of understanding to our clients.
We strive to provide professional, effective and individualized alcohol and drug treatment. We provide a secure, supportive, and welcoming atmosphere where veterans can feel understood and comfortable.
