Laura Medlock
Clinical Director
Laura is an Argosy University of Phoenix Alumni who graduated with her Master’s degree in Counseling in 2008. Laura has worked in various settings such as Outpatient, Residential Treatment and Crisis Therapy in both clinical and administrative roles. Laura has 12 years of experience as a therapist/behavioral health clinician and 4 and a half years as a Clinical Supervisor/Clinical Program Manager. Laura is a native Arizonian who is a Licensed Professional Counselor and registered clinical supervisor with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health.
Laura practices in the areas of children, adolescence, adults, family and recovery maintenance, general mental health, trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, youth or adolescent sexually maladaptive behaviors, self-esteem, body image issues, eating disorders, mood disorders, anger management issues and emotional regulation.
Laura utilizes and has training in CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Treatment of Sexually Maladaptive Behaviors, Play Therapy and Strategic Family Therapy to ensure services are individualized and person centered.
Laura enjoys spending time with her family, friends and with her 3 dogs. Laura enjoys reading, walking, movies, dog training and art.

Clinician
Josh comes to Hope & Healing with a vast amount of Experience and Knowledge. Josh has been working in the Mental Health field since he was an undergraduate in college. He worked at a RTC until moving to Dallas to get his Masters. After graduating, he went on to work at a Psych ER as a Behavioral Technician and Job Coach. Soon after, he became a case manager to help others with struggling with Mental Illness. Josh ultimately started to work as a clinician/Therapist. Josh’s nature is that he has a passion for helping others. His goals are to get the tools to his clients to help them have better control of their lives. Josh is a great listener and problem solver. He believes in respect and works diligently to earn it from his clients. Josh likes all his clients to know he is there for them, as his goal in this field is to help them meet their goals and to live the best life they can.
Athena Zepeda
Program Manager, Case Manager
Athena is a certified Behavioral Health Technician who is currently perusing a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She leads the intake process, and serves as a friendly, welcoming face to prospective clients. Athena was led to the industry by her own life experience and a desire to help people suffering from addiction and has worked in the field since 2020. She brings empathy and inspiration to the Hope & Healing team.
Cassi Fortson
Operations Director
Cassi is responsible for HR and Operations at Hope & Healing. She comes to us with 22 years in the nursing field, including in the detox and residential programs at SAMHC in Tucson. She brings a compassionate nature, business experience, and a desire to help people into her work at Hope & Healing.
Michael Cunningham
Director of Community Relations
As the Director of Community Relations, Michael’s focus is on creating and maintaining strong relationships with individuals and organizations in
the community we serve. His goal is to offer our program as a resource to those seeking treatment for addiction and general mental health. He is driven, passionate, and feels a sense of purpose in his work—confident that his experience has value and can help others find the miracle of recovery.
Dana Achim
Director of Corporate Development
Dana serves as Hope and Healing’s Director of Corporate Development and is responsible for identifying business growth opportunities, expanding the range of services offered to clients, and ensuring compliance and corporate adherence to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Her goal is to support the evolution of Hope and Healing into a comprehensive and highly ethical behavioral health organization as it becomes one of the top-rated programs in the addiction field. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a master’s degree in Communication and Public Relations and has devoted many years to serving the elderly population and building essential community relationships with many agencies. Her 20-plus years of experience in the healthcare field as an owner and manager of healthcare facilities helped her bring a meaningful contribution to a well-structured and integrated program.
Robyn Rand
Admissions Manager
Robyn brings a fiery passion and her own life experience to the Hope & Healing team. With 8 years in the industry, she specializes in a range of areas including case management, BHT lead, group facilitation, communications, and pre-screen assessment. She is a valuable all-rounder and goes the extra mile to make H&H successful. Robyn goes to great lengths to help clients feel that they are not alone and is a tireless advocate for their lasting recovery.
Kaleigh Rogers, LCSW, MPA, CCTP
Equine Therapy Program Manager
With over a decade of experience, trauma expert and nationally certified trauma therapist Kaleigh Rogers, LCSW, MPA, CCTP, has been on the frontlines of America's mental health crisis, tackling addiction, suicide prevention, and trauma recovery. Her expertise spans domestic violence shelters, homeless shelters, addiction recovery, and youth residential treatment centers. Kaleigh has personally battled addiction (workaholism) that damaged her mind, body, and spirit. Kaleigh herself experienced profound healing with equine therapies for PTSD and addiction. She firmly believes they are one of God's gifts to mankind.
With moxie and passion, Kaleigh, a nationally certified traumatic stress expert and dynamic orator, brings both frontline work and personal experience with complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder to audiences around the world. She has spoken to hundreds of therapists, marketplace ministry, and at international expos for suicide prevention and trauma treatment. She has been committed to serving the underserved and as a lead in a local nonprofit, ensuring that individuals facing financial hardships or disabilities receive the care they deserve.
